Even if your Death Knight has avoided it in the past, PvP combat is in their future. WotLK transformed World of Warcraft’s World PvP. The shape of things to come is visible in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP.

In Lake Wintergrasp you battle on the live server to gain points you can convert into a wide variety of special items, including the new Heirloom items that any character in their account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can take advantage of.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the trend toward PvP combat in the gaming industry, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. So let’s talk about how your Death Knight is going to cope with the changes.

With the release of Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK), a new class of character, the Death Knight, is stalking WoW PvP. With an intriguing mix of melee and casting skills, including magics learned form the Lich King that were formerly forbidden, the Death Knight brings new opportunities and problems to PvP combat. With its versatility, Death Knight PvP play can range from massive physical attacks like a Warrior, to being a support caster for a party. You can even do some limited healing. The options are many.

Perhaps your most important consideration when you are planning to play a Death Knight in PvP is your talent tree. With three major talent lines, Frost, Blood, and Unholy, your need to be careful to choose talents that support your play style or you will fail to benefit from this class’s unique attributes. The talents in the Blood line will give your character high DPS physical attacks similar to those of a Warrior, while Unholy talents will give you diseases and summoning to throw at your enemies. Talents in the Frost line nicely complement those in the other two lines, and make Frost/Blood or Frost/Unholy hybrids powerful. Depending on your specific play styles, a Frost/Unholy hybrid could be the best possible Death Knight PvP build. Regardless, knowing your PvP combat style will mightily effect how you build out your Death Knight.

Beyond knowing how to spec out your Death Knight, you need to know how to defeat the other player classes, in PvP and how they are likely to take you on. While there’s some useful information available, everything to do with Death Knights is new and confusing. Getting advice from the top PvP players could give you a huge edge in how well you do in PvP combat.

With all these things to consider, it’s no wonder that a Death Knight PvP guide is crucial for your success. Even though Death Knights are relatively new player characters, many of the best PvP already have Death Knight experience that they share in newly-updated PvP Guides. Choosing the top Death Knight PvP Guide will save you many hours of trial and error (and many headaches) as you get your character ready to dominate the arena or anywhere there is Player versus Player combat.

Learn how your Death Knight can come to dominate any kind of PvP combat and achieve more than a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible. Visit this site to discover more about this great Death Knight PvP Guide, or get your own copy here.

Why Your Druid Needs a PvP Guide

July 12th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Druid has avoided it in the past, Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in their future. WotLK transformed World of Warcraft’s World PvP. The big change is apparent in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the fact of life is always-on, real-time World PvP.

In Lake Wintergrasp you go at it on the live server to gain points you can convert into a wide variety of rare and valuable items, including the new Heirloom items that any character in their account regardless of that character’s level can use.

With Lake Wintergrasp’s high popularity, and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. So let’s talk about how your Druid is going to cope with the changes.

In World of Warcraft’s Player Versus Player (PvP) combat system, playing a Druid is both challenging and exciting. You have lots of opportunities and options, but with those opportunities and options comes complexity. If you have any PvP experience you’ve probably noticed that Druids are difficult to kill, but also tend to be prime targets in the arena. Because they can do so many things (fight like a tank, heal, even change forms) Druids are extremely versatile. This versatility makes them dangerous and thus prime targets for the other side, while also giving them the tools they need to defend themselves, if only they know how to use them. Playing a Druid is one of the better PvP experiences you’ll find.

Thanks to Druid’s varied abilities, they have a different optimal strategy for combating each class of opponent. That’s right, the best Druid Player versus Player players apply 9 different strategies, one for each class of opponent. And of course, you also need to be able to adapt your Druid’s combat tactics to account for the strengths and weaknesses of your team mates. There’s a lot of information to master, but there are major advantages to doing so.

Most players would agree that the Druid is usually the king of 2v2 arena play. A sizable minority would argue that Rogues are better, but few would argue against the Druid adding more depth and variety to any 2 person team. A well designed Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own its opponents in duels, and can be the leader of a high-end 2v2 arena team. And of course, these same attributes make Druids welcome additions to 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the good thing about play a Druid. But don’t forget that Druids have weaknesses too. If you’re going to succeed in PvP against the best players, you’ll need to understand your character’s weaknesses and be able to compensate for them. Choosing the right gear can go a long way toward solving that riddle, once you know which gear is the right gear. As always, you can learn everything you need to know while you play, if you’re willing to make a major investment of time.

Or you can invest in a PvP guide that contains the distilled wisdom of the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide will teach you what you need to know fast, and will surely show you things you would never have come up with on your own.

Dominate All Kinds of Warlock PvP with this Guide

July 12th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

PvP combat is in your Warlock’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King has brought a new emphasis to WoW World PvP. The shape of things to come is visible in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the emphasis is on real-time World PvP.

In this new zone, you face off on the live server to earn points you can use to buy a wide variety of rare and valuable items, including the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can take advantage of.

With Lake Wintergrasp’s high popularity, and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. So let’s talk about how your Warlock is going to cope with the changes.

Playing a Warlock class character in WoW PvP makes you a powerhouse, especially Arena play. Warlocks are downright nasty to fight against. With their ability to literally curse other classes to death, Warlocks are often feared, even hated, in Player versus Player combat. But they’re not indestructible, and are vulnerable to any class of opponent, provided that opponent knows how to counteract the Warlock’s abilities.

It’s pretty easy to play a Warlock in PvP. All you need to do is lay a bunch of DoT (Damage Over Time) spells on your poor victim, then keep casting Fear on them until they fall over dead. Simple and brutally effective, if you do it correctly.

Being a Warlock, you can also suck mana right out of other characters for your own use. You can even regenerate your own health. And if you want, you can make life particularly miserable for other spell casters by siccing your Felhunter on them. In short, a well trained Warlock can defeat any other character class.

A poorly trained Warlock, on the other hand, isn’t going to last very long in Player versus Player combat. With no combat ability outside their casting, Warlocks are at the mercy of any character that can resist their magic, or somehow drain the Warlock’s mana before the Warlock kills them. A veteran Warlock player will learn the skills necessary to deal with any opponent capable of resisting their magic. This is where a top Warlock PvP Guide comes into the picture.

Warlock PvP Guides are incredibly important. As a Warlock, it is extremely difficult to defeat some classes without a well-honed strategy. You can either spend your time in battle (probably getting your butt kicked) trying to learn which strategies and tactics work against which class, or you can invest in a Guide that will show you exactly what you need to know.

For a more concrete example,, let’s talk about Priests. A Priest has the ability to drain a Warlock’s mana. And as we’ve already discussed, without mana to cast spells, a Warlock is doomed. To make things worse, Priests can dispel a Warlock’s curses. So taking down a Priest can be challenging for a Warlock. But the best Warlocks know all the ways that they can counter a Priest. You can work them out for yourself, or you can find them in the pages of a good Warlock PvP Guide.

The top Guides contain predefined strategies for battling all possible opponents. Once you learn those strategies, you have a solid base for adaptation and improvisation in the heat of battle.

This is why getting yourself a quality Warlock PvP Guide is so important. In a quality Guide, you’ll learn what and when to cast against each opposing class, how they are likely to attack you, and how to respond to their attacks. You’ll know how to take on each class in one on one duels, and how to play your part in a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.

Because a top notch PvP Guide contains the hard-earned experience of Warlocks with a vast amount of experience, it will contain information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

Avoiding that long and bloody stuff is a great reason to invest in a PcP Guide. A quality guide gives you a blueprint for how your character will fight each other class. And that’s not all it will include. A quality PvP Guide will teach you just about everything there is to know about achieving victory with your Warlock in each PvP environment, whether dueling one-on-one, or as a member of a party, or in World combat.

Learn how your Warlock can come to dominate any kind of PvP combat with the PvP Bible. Visit this site to learn more about this great Warlock PvP Guide, or get your own copy right now at: http://ThePvPBible.info.

A Look at Wintergrasp World PvP in WoW

July 4th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Before Wrath of the Lich King, World PvP was a pretty straightforward aspect of Warcraft. There were a handful of objectives in Outland that allowed players to do a couple of very simple tasks like retaking Haala or killing their opponents and taking the towers or beacons in Zangarmarsh, Hellfire or Terokkar Forest. The objectives were easy but no one really did them because the reward was minimal and was often zone-wide so everyone got it. There had been no reason to take part if 12 other players did it for you once every hour or two.

But all that changed when WotLK hit and the game started emphasising more complicated, realtime battles in World PvP with their first real time PvP battle sector in Lake Wintergrasp. The new section had players facing off in classic battles on the live server ( no instancing ) and getting rewarded with points that would let them buy rare and valuable items like the new Heirloom items that may be used on any personality in the account from level one to eighty and beyond.

In addition to the way in which the game now works on live servers, many players can get without delay concerned to incorporate a slew of different ways that players can use weaknesses of their opponents, use PvP to get into PvE content and then get rewarded with everything from Emblems of Heroism to the rare and valuable Season 5 Gear.

In the end, whilst there are new PvP objectives and World PvP options in Grizzly Hills as well, you are only going to hear about Lake Wintergrasp where Blizzard has put into place options than ever before to get players concerned, make sure that the content remains fresh and topical and to build up a means by which they can grow their PvP options to struggle against other MMOs built completely on PvP like Warhammer Online.

World PvP is here for good and as the recognition of Lake Wintergrasp dicates, you should expect a complete slew of new options in future patches and expansions as the game gets more depth added to real world PvP. Expect that your ability level now will have a big effect on how you perform in the future as well, particularly if you would like to start to get the top rewards and accomplishments.

How Your Shaman Can Dominate PvP Today

June 29th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

PvP combat is in your Shaman’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King has brought a new emphasis to WoW World PvP. The big change is clear in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the fact of life is always-on, real-time World PvP.

In this new zone, you face off on the live server to gain points that allow you to buy a wide variety of rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can take advantage of.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Shaman in this new world:

Playing a Shaman class character in World of Warcraft PvP can be incredibly fun because of the wide variety of things Shaman can do in combat. Whether it is throwing down an armful of offensive and defensive totems, or slicing their opponent to ribbons using Windfury, Shaman can do it all. And they do it with style and power. But the downside of all those abilities mean there’s a significant amount of learning you must do if you want to play a Shaman in PvP without dying continuously.

What makes playing a Shaman hard to learn is the same thing that makes it so much fun once you do learn: all those totems. When you count all the different elemental specs available to a Shaman, there are more than 30 totems combined. There’s a wide variety of them, with sometimes subtle differences, such as that between the Grounding Totem which disrupts attacks while Earthshock interrupts them. And some of them are very specific as to which class they are effective against, like Poison Cleanse which removes poisons as they are cast. You can choose among totems that dispel attacks, disable Rogues, eliminate the threat of the Warrior’s Intercept, and stop those cowardly Hunters from running away. Think of any situation you might encounter in PvP combat, and there’s surely a totem that will help.

This means that succeeding as a Shaman in PvP depends on your skill with using your totems. Get this right and you’ll kick tail. Get this wrong and you’ll spend a lot of time eating dirt. One major issue is that it takes time and mana to create each totem. If you don’t know which totem to create when, or you don’t know how to keep them active in the most mana-efficient way, your Shaman will use up its mana or totem supply before they can finish off the enemy. Then they’re doomed.

This is why getting yourself a quality Shaman PvP Guide is so important. A top-notch guide will show you which totems to use against which opposing classes. You’ll learn which totems to deploy against each class and when to deploy them to keep your Shaman healthy and effective against whichever class of opponent comes at you. It will show you the best way to take on every type of opponent in solo duels. And it will show you how your Shaman can work as a member of a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.

Because a quality PvP Guide incorporates experience earned by veteran players in hundreds of hours of bloody combat, it will include secrets that won’t be obvious to newer players like you. It will leave very little if anything out of the equation, saving you vast amounts of time you would otherwise spend on trial and error. Why spend the next few weeks or months at the bottom of the ranking, unsure about which totem to use when, getting slaughtered by more experienced players when buying a Shaman PvP Guide will make you competitive fast?

PvP After WotLK: Your Rogue Can Dominate

June 28th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in your Rogue’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. WotLK transformed World PvP. The shape of things to come is clear in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the emphasis is on real-time World PvP.

In Lake Wintergrasp you battle on the live server to win points you can use to buy a wide variety of rare and valuable items, including the new Heirloom items. These are items that any character in their account regardless of that character’s level can use.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the trend toward PvP combat in the gaming industry, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Paladin in this new world:

Playing a Rogue class character in World of Warcraft PvP combat can be amazing fun. Because Rogues have so many unique skills (like stealth and poisoning), they can take on their opponents in ways no other class can. But all these unique skills come with a price: they can make playing a Rogue complicated. In short, playing a Rogue in PvP is an exciting challenge.

When played well, a Rogue delivers more DPS (Damage Per Second) than any other player class in the arena. On top of that, Rogues have a Hunter’s speed and the melee ability of a Warrior, along with the crowd control ability of a Warlock. Learn to use your Rogue’s abilities to the max and you’ll be able to challenge anyone for dominance in player versus player combat.

The key to Rogue PvP success is combinations of attacks. With the right combos, called Stunlocks, a Rogue can completely disable certain player classes, killing them before they even get off an attack! The trick is to learn the right combos against each type of enemy, then execute them efficiently in the middle of a battle.

Learning all the things you need to know about Rogue PvP combat can be difficult. Understanding and perfecting stunlocks is hard enough, with their precise timing and detailed positioning. But that’s just the beginning. You can’t forget the use of poisons, dropping combat, and evasion, yet more precision skills you need to master. Getting all this stuff sorted out by yourself isn’t easy. Fortunately, others have blazed a path before you, and captured all they’ve learned about using a Rogue in PvP Guide books. Choosing the best Rogue PvP Guide can save you many hours of trial and error (and many headaches) as you learn how to dominate the arena.

Dominate All Kinds of PvP with this Priest Guide

June 28th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Priest has avoided it in the past, PvP combat is in their future. WotLK has brought more advanced, real time battles to the game.

The first real time PvP battle zone is Lake Wintergrasp. There players face off on the live server (no instancing) to win points that allow them to buy a wide variety of special items.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the trend toward PvP combat in the gaming industry, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. So let’s talk about how your Priest can dominate:

Playing a Priest class character in World of Warcraft PvP is something of a paradox. Priest are either extremely capable and versatile, or very weak and helpless, based on how you play them. With a wide variety of heals and tons of mana, they can be dangerous opponents and a pain to kill. But with minimal health and no armor, they can be easy pickings for a smart opponent if the Priest is sloppy or unskilled. Succeeding as a Priest in PvP requires careful preparation and a good understanding of how to hurt your enemies with indirect damage. It’s a challenge for sure.

When a Priest is part of a PvP combat group, it’s usually assumed that the Priest is there to heal the rest of the party. But it doesn’t have to work this way. Holy and Discipline Priests are extremely useful to any arena or battleground groups, where they buff and debuff characters generally filling the classic healer role. Shadow Priests, on the other hand can be powerful DPS (Damage Per Second) dealers, with the added bonus of being able to heal when necessary. Whether your Priest provides aid and healing to your party, or kicks enemy tail on the attack largely depends on how you develop and play the class.

Priests are highly effective against many classes - they can crowd control with Fear and deal DoTs (Damage Over Time) spells, while dispelling nearly anything the opposing casters put up. However, against other classes, Priests are in real danger. Without the correct strategy, a Priest has virtually no hope against Rogues, for example.

With so many possible outcomes, using a quality Priest PvP Guide is crucial. A great guide will not only give the Priest useful strategies and tactics to use against each type of opponent, it will give you a better idea of how each other class is likely to attact your Priest. A good Priest PvP Guide will also give you more than a handful of standard strategies for Priests. It will show you exactly how to take on all of the other classes in one on one combat. And it should show how the Priest, in each of its three specs (Holy, Discipline, and Shadow), can best fit into a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.

Because a top notch PvP Guide incorporates the hard-earned experience of veteran Priests, it will include information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. It will teach you the most important things to know, saving you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become skilled at PvP combat.

Find out how your Priest can come to dominate any kind of PvP combat with the PvP Bible. Visit PvP-Bible.info to discover more about this great Priest PvP Guide, or order your copy of the Guide here.

World PvP: Your Warrior Can Dominate

June 22nd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Warrior has avoided it in the past, PvP combat is in their future. WotLK has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. In this new zone, players go at it on the live server to win points they can use to shop for all sorts of special items, including the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account regardless of that character’s level can use.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. Here’s what you need to know for your Warrior to rule in this new world:

Playing a Warrior class character in World of Warcraft PvP seems straightforward. Find the enemy, then hack him to pieces! But there’s actually a lot more to it than that. Keep reading to see what I mean.

As you would imagine, the goal of a Warrior is to deal as much physical damage as possible. What catches people by surprise is that the best Warriors are not so much worried about taking physical damage as they are suffering spell damage. The reason for this is simple. Only Paladins and other Warriors can survive in hand to hand combat with a skilled Warrior. But everything changes if their opponents have powerful magic on their side.

In PvP situations, a Warrior seldom gets many opportunities for such hand to hand combat. You’re more likely to encounter spell casters and ranged fighters like Hunters than you are to duel other Warriors. This means strategy and tactics are necessary.

A Warrior’s biggest problem is getting close enough to an opponent to bring sword or axe to bear, and how to stay close enough long enough to kill the target. The other classes know better than to get you get too close, and will be doing everything they can to stay out of your range. This means you will need to use specialized skills like Charge at the start of battles and Intercept to close the gap while in battle. Once close, your Warrior will need to use debilitating skills like Hamstring and Intimidating Shout to keep your quarry close, then load up on rage and hit the opponent as hard as possible.

And while you’re thinking about all this, don’t forget that those damnable casters and ranged fighters will be slowly sapping your strength with their annoying spells and puny arrows. For this reason, you must learn how to use your defensive stances and spell reflects to minimize the harm they do to you, get comfortable with the timing of Intercept and Hamstring, and be ready to deal massive amounts of damage to any character fool enough to end up within your weapons range. A quality Warrior PvP Guide can give you the knowledge you need to master all this without spending hundreds of hours experimenting and practicing.

A quality Warrior PvP Guide will show you how to defeat the other character classes in various situations, where brute strength and sheer combat power aren’t the deciding factor. It will teach you how to take on your opponents on your own terms, including those unmanly ranged fighters and robe-wearing spell casters. A top-notch Warrior PvP Guide will also show you the proper use of your rage and crowd control abilities, enabling you to immobilize and dismember your foes.

Finally, since the best PvP Guide will incorporate the hard-earned experience of veteran Warriors, it will contain strategies and tactics that you’re unlikely to discover on your own in any reasonable amount of time. With such a Guide you will learn the key things you need to know, saving you vast amounts of time and energy you would otherwise spend on trial and error.

Find out how your Warrior can come to dominate any Player versus Player battlefield with the PvP Bible. Visit this site to learn more about this great Warrior PvP Guide, or get your own copy here.

PvP After WotLK: Your Hunter Can Dominate

June 22nd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

PvP combat is in your Hunter’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has brought more advanced, real time battles to the game.

The first real time PvP battle zone is Lake Wintergrasp. In this new zone, players battle on the live server (no instancing) to earn points they can use to buy a wide variety of special items, including the new Heirloom items. These are items that any of the player’s characters in that account regardless of that character’s level can use.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. So let’s talk about Hunters and PvP:

Playing a Hunter class character in WoW PvP requires many of the same skills real hunter possess. You need to be able to identify the target and figure out how it will react so you can anticipate what it will do next. You also need to know your own capabilities and the capabilities of your gear. And you need to be able to maneuver into the optimal position to take out your target before they can take you out.

However, in Hunter PvP combat, there are issues that no real-world hunter has to deal with. You need to know when and how to deploy your Freezing and Frost Traps and essential crowd control devices is one thing. You also need to know how to manage the space between you and your prey so you can cause as much ranged damage as possible in each duel. And you must do all this against an intelligent character, rather than a wild animal.

If you want to be really successful in Hunter PvP combat, you need to know the strategy and tactics for killing each class of opponent. It’s particularly important to understand how Druids, Warriors, and Rogues are likely to come at you. At the same time, you have to have a strategy for countering quick charges into hand-to-hand combat range by Warriors and Rogues.

It’s possible to learn what you need to know by putting in enough time in the arena. But I can tell you from personal experience that if you try, you had better be prepared to get defeated regularly and be humiliated for a long time. I spent many frustrating hours ranking last or near last in the standings when I tried. It wasn’t until I picked up a Hunter PvP Guide that I started climbing in the standings rapidly.

Because a top notch PvP Guide contains the hard-earned experience of Hunters with a vast amount of experience, it will contain strategies and tactics that are not obvious to newer players. It will teach you the most important things to know, saving you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

Dominate World PvP with this Paladin Guide

June 14th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Paladin has avoided it in the past, Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in their future. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. There players face off on the live server to earn points they can use to buy a wide variety of rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can take advantage of.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the trend toward PvP combat in the gaming industry, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Paladin in this new world:

WoW Paladins are a schizophrenic bunch. On the one hand, they’re almost as good in hand-to-hand combat as Warriors. On the other hand, they can heal themselves and others like Priests do. This schizoid behavior carries over into World of Warcraft Paladin PvP combat, meaning that you really need to understand both sides of your character’s personality to dominate player versus player combat.

Given their two-sided personality, it’s no surprise that a Paladin can play a few different roles in PvP. When soloing, their ability to heal themselves can drive their opponents crazy. With a full load of mana, they can use their self-healing abilities to recover from almost any level of damage once or twice. In effect, their healing abilities let them absorb almost triple the damage you might otherwise expect. In other words, a smart Paladin with mana available to use will still be standing long after they “should” be dead. In a group, A Paladin will often end up in a support role, providing bubbles, blessings, heals, and combat support wherever it is needed on the battlefield. This is a role that a skilled Palading will excel at, making them valuable assets for any party.

While playing a Paladin offers many benefits, the Paladin class has its shortcomings too. A Paladin’s mana supply is always limited, and when the mana runs out, so are many of this classes advantages. Even when their mana reserve is full, Paladins can have a terrible time drawing close enough to elusive classes like Hunters and Mages to do any damage at all! The keys to winning as a Paladin are understanding how best to use your limited mana supply, and understanding how to fight each of the opposing classes. As with other WoW classes, learning what you need to know by personal experience is bloody, frustrating, and time consuming.

This is a great reason to invest in a Paladin PvP Guide. A quality guide gives you a blueprint for fighting against each other character class. And that’s not all it will offer you. It will teach you just about everything you could ever care to know about fighting and winning with a Paladin in each player versus player environment, whether dueling or, as part of a group, or in World combat.
