In the World of Warcraft Warriors are considered to be well-known for their tanking and dps abilities. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Warriors became even more popular and fun to play when the dual spec became available.
Being a tank with the Protection talent tree all the time is fun for a while but from my own experience it can get quite boring especially if you have been playing for several years. When a second specialization became available to the players, you were able to make a dual build for your Warrior, one for tanking and one Fury or Arms for dps which definitely can make your char more fun to play, more useful and of course, it will save a lot of gold you would spend anyway for respec. With a setup like this you will be able to gather gear for both your tanking build and damage or PvP build. With a dual spec you can easily gear up since you can change your build when needed, like for example switch to tank when a tank is needed or switch to a melee dps if a dps is needed or if you just want to grind or PvP a bit. It must be said that the Protection Warriors are favored by many because tanks can be rare on some servers.
Protection talent build would be your choice if you decide to become a tank. The talents that can be chosen in the Protection talent tree will make the Warrior a tough cookie. By enhancing his armor, giving him more Stamina, making him more capable with his shield, giving him several attacks that create a lot of threat and by giving the Warrior several other great abilities the Protection tree is great for players that like to play an important role in raids and dungeons, namely the role of the tank.
The Arms and Fury talent tree of the Warrior are supposed to increase the Warriors damage. Arms is said to be a perfect build for PvP because of many useful attacks and abilities like Mortal Strike – an ability which, when placed on a target, will decrease any healing done. This can have a devastating effect on some combinations in the arena. For more information on WoW class guides, read our review: Warcraft Pros Guide
When it comes to PvE dps, the Fury talent build is mostly used to enhance the damage output of your dps Warrior. Some players claim that an Arms Warrior is also better in PvE when compared to a Fury Warrior. However, you will need to try it out yourself in order to get the clear picture which talent build is better for you. After all, with the Fury talent build, you will receive several nice attacks and other nice talents and as a Fury Warrior you will be the only class that is able to use two Two Handed Weapons which gives the character a great look!
Since the beginning of time, Warriors have always had a special role in civilizations and they were the most important factor of any battle. The Warrior class in the World of Warcraft is the only class which can equip all the weapons. While wearing plate armor and a shield a Warrior makes a great tank and while wielding two-handed weapons he can cause a lot of havoc.
