WoW PvP Secrets - Macros

copy PS games

If you’ve ever been involved in martial arts, fencing, or any other organized hand-to-hand combat system, you know there’s far more to success than simply flailing away at your opponent. Speed and precision are at least as important as size and strength. The same is true in WoW PvP combat. When opponents are well matched, every second counts, and any mistake can have dire consequences. And admit it, scrolling and clicking with a mouse may be easy, but it isn’t particularly fast or precise. To really do well in World of Warcraft Player versus Player combat, you need something better. You need to start using macros.

So what is a macro? In WoW, a macro is a set of commands that correspond to commands you could give with the mouse and keyboard. A command in a macro might look like this:

/cast Faerie Fire

As you probably guessed, this command tells your character to cast the Faerie Fire spell. It has the same effect as clicking on the Faerie Fire icon in your character’s Spellbook or on an Action Bar. Each macro consists of one or more commands that are grouped together and attached to a button on one of the Action Bars. When you click the icon for the macro, the macro runs, and executes all the commands.

Within limits, macros can do anything for you that you could do with the keyboard or mouse. And they can do it with a single click or hotkey. This ability to execute a long string of commands quickly and precisely when you click a single button is what makes macros so important for PvP combat.

If you haven’t experienced it for yourself, you don’t really know how intense PvP combat can get. If you’re a fraction too slow with the mouse, or accidentally click the wrong button, you’re probably dead before you know what happened to you. The ability to execute a full attack sequence, or perform some other complex set of actions with a single mouse click can make all the difference in a tough battle.

Learning how to create and use macros is one great way to improve your performance in PvP combat. Click Here to get more information about using macros in WoW PvP.

Why Your Druid Needs a PvP Guide

July 12th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Druid has avoided it in the past, Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in their future. WotLK transformed World of Warcraft’s World PvP. The big change is apparent in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the fact of life is always-on, real-time World PvP.

In Lake Wintergrasp you go at it on the live server to gain points you can convert into a wide variety of rare and valuable items, including the new Heirloom items that any character in their account regardless of that character’s level can use.

With Lake Wintergrasp’s high popularity, and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. So let’s talk about how your Druid is going to cope with the changes.

In World of Warcraft’s Player Versus Player (PvP) combat system, playing a Druid is both challenging and exciting. You have lots of opportunities and options, but with those opportunities and options comes complexity. If you have any PvP experience you’ve probably noticed that Druids are difficult to kill, but also tend to be prime targets in the arena. Because they can do so many things (fight like a tank, heal, even change forms) Druids are extremely versatile. This versatility makes them dangerous and thus prime targets for the other side, while also giving them the tools they need to defend themselves, if only they know how to use them. Playing a Druid is one of the better PvP experiences you’ll find.

Thanks to Druid’s varied abilities, they have a different optimal strategy for combating each class of opponent. That’s right, the best Druid Player versus Player players apply 9 different strategies, one for each class of opponent. And of course, you also need to be able to adapt your Druid’s combat tactics to account for the strengths and weaknesses of your team mates. There’s a lot of information to master, but there are major advantages to doing so.

Most players would agree that the Druid is usually the king of 2v2 arena play. A sizable minority would argue that Rogues are better, but few would argue against the Druid adding more depth and variety to any 2 person team. A well designed Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own its opponents in duels, and can be the leader of a high-end 2v2 arena team. And of course, these same attributes make Druids welcome additions to 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the good thing about play a Druid. But don’t forget that Druids have weaknesses too. If you’re going to succeed in PvP against the best players, you’ll need to understand your character’s weaknesses and be able to compensate for them. Choosing the right gear can go a long way toward solving that riddle, once you know which gear is the right gear. As always, you can learn everything you need to know while you play, if you’re willing to make a major investment of time.

Or you can invest in a PvP guide that contains the distilled wisdom of the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide will teach you what you need to know fast, and will surely show you things you would never have come up with on your own.

World PvP: Your Warrior Can Dominate

June 22nd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Warrior has avoided it in the past, PvP combat is in their future. WotLK has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. In this new zone, players go at it on the live server to win points they can use to shop for all sorts of special items, including the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account regardless of that character’s level can use.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. Here’s what you need to know for your Warrior to rule in this new world:

Playing a Warrior class character in World of Warcraft PvP seems straightforward. Find the enemy, then hack him to pieces! But there’s actually a lot more to it than that. Keep reading to see what I mean.

As you would imagine, the goal of a Warrior is to deal as much physical damage as possible. What catches people by surprise is that the best Warriors are not so much worried about taking physical damage as they are suffering spell damage. The reason for this is simple. Only Paladins and other Warriors can survive in hand to hand combat with a skilled Warrior. But everything changes if their opponents have powerful magic on their side.

In PvP situations, a Warrior seldom gets many opportunities for such hand to hand combat. You’re more likely to encounter spell casters and ranged fighters like Hunters than you are to duel other Warriors. This means strategy and tactics are necessary.

A Warrior’s biggest problem is getting close enough to an opponent to bring sword or axe to bear, and how to stay close enough long enough to kill the target. The other classes know better than to get you get too close, and will be doing everything they can to stay out of your range. This means you will need to use specialized skills like Charge at the start of battles and Intercept to close the gap while in battle. Once close, your Warrior will need to use debilitating skills like Hamstring and Intimidating Shout to keep your quarry close, then load up on rage and hit the opponent as hard as possible.

And while you’re thinking about all this, don’t forget that those damnable casters and ranged fighters will be slowly sapping your strength with their annoying spells and puny arrows. For this reason, you must learn how to use your defensive stances and spell reflects to minimize the harm they do to you, get comfortable with the timing of Intercept and Hamstring, and be ready to deal massive amounts of damage to any character fool enough to end up within your weapons range. A quality Warrior PvP Guide can give you the knowledge you need to master all this without spending hundreds of hours experimenting and practicing.

A quality Warrior PvP Guide will show you how to defeat the other character classes in various situations, where brute strength and sheer combat power aren’t the deciding factor. It will teach you how to take on your opponents on your own terms, including those unmanly ranged fighters and robe-wearing spell casters. A top-notch Warrior PvP Guide will also show you the proper use of your rage and crowd control abilities, enabling you to immobilize and dismember your foes.

Finally, since the best PvP Guide will incorporate the hard-earned experience of veteran Warriors, it will contain strategies and tactics that you’re unlikely to discover on your own in any reasonable amount of time. With such a Guide you will learn the key things you need to know, saving you vast amounts of time and energy you would otherwise spend on trial and error.

Find out how your Warrior can come to dominate any Player versus Player battlefield with the PvP Bible. Visit this site to learn more about this great Warrior PvP Guide, or get your own copy here.

Types of PvP Combat

March 24th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

When people start talking about PvP combat, it soon becomes clear that there are various settings where it can happen. This short guide to the settings will make it easier for you to find PvP combat when you want it, as well as understand what others mean when they talk about battlegrounds or World PvP or whatever. Keep reading for a super-fast introduction to each setting:

Fighting Duels

Duels are voluntary one-on-one battles between players. You don’t have to be on a PvP server to duel, but you can’t duel within cities. One of the best places to find someone to duel against is the entrance to any major city, which is where duelists often hang out looking for someone to challenge.

The Battlegrounds

Horde and Alliance go at it in the battlegrounds, competing to win battles and earn marks. Marks serve as a sort of money that you can trade for various items, including better PvP gear. You can only use marks at the special PvP vendor shops.

The Arenas

Arena combat is organized team versus team combat in the form of an ongoing tournament. Teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) battle against other teams of the opposing faction as well as against teams of their own faction. You become a member of a team to fight in the arena and earn Arena Points as a team.

Random PvP

Any time you encounter a player from the other faction who has their PvP flag on, you can do battle with them. In PvP realms, that flag is always set, except in a few protected areas, you’re always open to attack. You can manually turn your PvP flag on and off by typing /pvp, and various circumstances will turn it on automatically, even if you aren’t playing in a PvP realm.

World PvP Combat

Some zones have goals that involve PvP. To complete these you’ll need to be ready to fight. Zones with these kinds of goals include, the Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, and Nagrand.

PvP Zones

Wintergrasp is the first of a new type of zone that is totally dedicated to PvP combat. Expect more in the future.

What Next?

You should now have a basic understanding of the different settings where you can find PvP combat. But if you want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players, there’s a lot more you should learn. To get the complete story on PvP, including the most current strategies & tactics you can use to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info

Three Overlooked Keys of WoW PvP Success

March 10th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

WoW Player versus Player combat has to be one of the best and exciting parts of the WoW experience. The interaction with the other people on your side is fun, and once you start having success, well PvP can be more than a little addictive. But PvP can be bewildering when you first start. It’s confusing, and you die an awful lot. And even if you are a veteran of PvP combat, it’s not hard to forget some of the basics. I’ve been there. Particularly once you’re having success, you can easily get caught up in the moment and forget the fundamentals that got you where you are now in the first place.

So let’s talk about 3 basic tactics you need to apply whether you’re new to this whole PvP thing, or are already making a name for yourself at a high level in WotLK.

First, you have to be able to heal yourself. You may be brutally efficient at taking out the enemy quickly, and you may have healers assigned to keep you and your brethren alive, but when it comes to the crunch, you need to be able to treat the worst of your wounds some potions and bandages for emergency treatment of yourself. Do you really want your character to die because your healer was helping someone else, or ran low on mana, or got called away by his mommy when you needed him most?

Second, learn about macros. Learn how to make them, then make them for all your key actions, and use them. When your foes are all around you, and you’re life is on the line, getting off that spell or using that special ability fast is essential. Once you create and become skilled with macros for your special abilities and important spells, you’ll have a massive advantage over people who don’t use them.

Third, remember that you need to defend as well as attack. This is where getting caught up in the moment really causes problems. What use is it if you capture a base or take a flag, only to lose it again because no one stayed around to defend it? The blood lust driving you to hunt down and slaughter one more foe can be almost irresistible, but sometimes the right thing you can do for your self and your side is to defend what you have instead of going on the attack.

Master these three things, and keep them in mind when the blood lust is upon you, and you’ll be far more successful in PvP. Still, freely-available information like this, and even your own skill will only take you so far. To really rule in PvP combat, you’re gonna need help.

To advance to the highest levels of PvP, you need to learn from the experience of the very best PvP gamers. You can either try to find a mentor in the game who will teach you, or you can be smart and invest in a quality PvP Guide. The best PvP guides include much more than basic information like in this article. They are filled with specific, detailed information and guidance for each type of character. And the source of that information is the very best PvP players. The top PvP guides will gather and organize that information for you, along with providing updates whenever a new patch like WotLK comes out.

If you want to dominate WoW PvP, you need to invest in the best guide. Go to http://PvP-Bible.info to learn more.

Rule Player Versus Player Using this Warrior PvP Guide

February 28th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

If you’re new to World of Warcraft, you might think that playing a Warrior in PvP combat is nothing more than hacking apart anything that gets in the way. But playing a Warrior takes a surprising amount of skill and tactics. As you’re about to learn, a top-notch Warrior PvP Guide will actually come in handy.

Not surprisingly, the goal of a Warrior is to deal as much physical damage as possible. What’s surprising to most is that good Warriors are not so much worried about taking physical damage as they are suffering spell damage. The reason for this is simple. Only Paladins and other Warriors can survive for more than a few seconds in hand to hand combat with a skilled Warrior. But everything changes if their opponents have powerful magic on their side.

In PvP situations, a Warrior seldom gets into many close-in duels. You’re more likely to end up trying to chase down spell casters and ranged fighters like Hunters than you are to duel other Warriors. This means strategy and tactics are necessary.

The greatest challenge for a Warrior is usually just getting into melee range and staying there. If you’re not careful, you can easily spend all your time chasing weaker but nimbler characters. To close the gap on the cowards, you will need to use Warrior-specific skills such as Charge to start battles and Intercept to close the gap while in battle. When in close combat range, you’ll need to use other skills like Hamstring and Intimidating Shout to stop the worms from fleeing as you load up on rage and tear the weaklings apart.

And while you’re thinking about all this, don’t forget that those damnable casters and ranged fighters will be plinking away at you with their annoying spells and puny arrows. For this reason, you must learn how to use your defensive stances and spell reflects to minimize the harm they do to you, get comfortable with the timing of Intercept and Hamstring, and be ready to deal massive amounts of damage to any character fool enough to end up within your weapons range. That’s a lot to figure out on your own. A quality Warrior PvP Guide can give you the knowledge you need to master all this without spending hundreds of hours experimenting and practicing.

With the right Warrior PvP Guide, you’ll quickly learn how to defeat the other character classes in those situations where weapons skill and combat rage aren’t the deciding factor. An effective Guide will teach everything you need to know to take on your opponents on your own terms, including those unmanly ranged fighters and robe-wearing spell casters. And it will show you how to apply your rage and crowd control abilities together to immobilize and deal death to your foes.

In addition, because the best PvP Guide will incorporate the hard-earned combat lore of veteran Warriors, it will contain strategies and tactics that you’re unlikely to discover on your own in any reasonable amount of time. It will teach you the key things you need to know, saving you vast amounts of time and energy you would otherwise spend on learning by trial and error.

Learn how your Warrior can dominate the PvP battlefield and earn more than a 2200 honor rating in just a few weeks with the PvP Bible. Dominate Player Versus Player Combat Using a Warlock PvP Guide

February 28th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Playing a Warlock class character in WoW Player Versus Player combat makes you a powerhouse, especially Arena play. Warlocks are downright nasty to fight against. With their ability to literally curse other classes to death, Warlocks are often feared, even hated, in Player versus Player combat. But they’re not indestructible, and are vulnerable to any class of opponent, provided that opponent knows how to counteract the Warlock’s abilities.

A Warlock in PvP is actually a simple class to play. The basic strategy is to hit an opposing character with tons of DoT (Damage Over Time) spells, then cast Fear on them repeatedly. Do this enough times and the opponent dies.

Warlocks also can drain mana from other characters and can regenerate their own health. On top of that, they can be optimized to be extremely dangerous against casters due to their Felhunter, a pet seemingly designed to slaughter mages. In short, a well trained Warlock can defeat any other character class.

A poorly trained Warlock, on the other hand, isn’t going to last very long in Player versus Player combat. With no combat ability outside their casting, Warlocks are at the mercy of any character that can resist their magic, or somehow drain the Warlock’s mana before the Warlock kills them. Knowing how to deal with such pesky opponents is a key to victory as a Warlock. It’s when learning each enemy’s strengths and weaknesses that a top Warlock PvP Guide will transform your game.

Warlock PvP Guides are incredibly important. As a Warlock, it is extremely difficult to defeat some classes without a well-honed strategy. You can learn how to do it the hard way, in battle or you can invest in a Guide book.

For a more concrete example,, let’s talk about Priests. A Priest has the ability to drain a Warlock’s mana. And without mana to cast spells, a Warlock is helpless. On top of that, Priests can dispel your curses. So taking down a Priest can be a challenge for a Warlock. But the best Warlocks know all the ways that they can counter a Priest. You can work them out for yourself, or you can find them in the pages of a good Warlock PvP Guide.

The best Guides contain predefined strategies for battling each of the opposing character classes. Once you learn those strategies, you have a solid base for adaptation and improvisation in the heat of battle.

In a quality Guide, you’ll learn which how to attack and defend against each of your possible opponents. You’ll learn what and when to cast against each classand how to respond to their attacks. You’ll learn what to do against each class in solo duels, and what to do as part of a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.

Because a top notch PvP Guide contains the hard-earned experience of Warlocks with a vast amount of experience, it will contain information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

Learn exactly how your Warlock can dominate the battlefield and score above a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the best PvP Guide, or order yourself a copy right now at: http://ThePvPBible.info

Dominate Player Versus Player with this Shaman PvP Guide

February 21st, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

If you have been playing a Shaman in WoW, you know just how flexible your character is. That versatility translates into impressive abilities in PvP combat. Think of it: ripping up the enemy with Windfury while your totems make their life miserable and protect you from harm. If you’re skilled with this class, Shaman PvP combat is loads of fun. The downside to your Shaman being able to do so many things is that there’s a significant learning curve you need to navigate to become good at player versus player combat.

What makes playing a Shaman hard to learn is the same thing that makes it so much fun once you do learn: all those totems. When you count all the different elemental specs available to a Shaman, there are more than 30 different totems between them. There’s a wide variety of them, with sometimes subtle differences, such as that between the Grounding Totem which disrupts attacks while Earthshock interrupts them. And some of them are very specific as to which class they are effective against, like Poison Cleanse which removes poisons as they are cast at you which is extremely useful against Rogues. Depending on which totem your Shaman uses, they can dispel attacks, disable Rogues, absorb the Warrior’s Intercept, and slow a Hunter. There are totems that will help you out in virtually any situation.

This means that succeeding as a Shaman in PvP depends on your skill with using your totems. Get this right and you’ll be a power to be reckined with. Get this wrong and you’ll spend most of your time waiting to be resurrected. One of the big issues is that you can only create so many totems so fast. If you don’t know which totem to create when, and how to keep them up while using your mana efficiently, your Shaman will use up its mana or totem supply before they can finish off the enemy. If that happens, your Shaman’s life expectancy is very, very short.

This is why getting yourself a quality Shaman PvP Guide is so important. In a quality guide, you’ll learn which totems to use against which opposing classes. You’ll learn which totems to deploy against each class and when to deploy them to maintain your Shaman’s health and mana while holding your own against whatever danger comes your way. It will show you the best way to take on opponents from each classes in one on one duels. And it will show you ways that your Shaman can work as a member of a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.

Because a quality PvP Guide incorporates the hard-earned experience of veteran players, it will include strategies and tactics that are not obvious to newer players like you. It will leave very little if anything out of the equation, and save you the time it would take to learn everything on your own. Why spend weeks at the bottom of the pile, unsure about which totem to use when, and getting crushed by players who know exactly how to defeat you when you can eliminate most of your learning curve with a quality Shaman PvP Guide?

Learn exactly how your Shaman can dominate the battlefield and achieve a 2200+ honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible. Visit http://ThePvPBible.com to learn more about this great PvP Guide and order your copy today!

Why Every Druid Should Use a Guide to PvP

February 19th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Playing a Druid class character in World of Warcraft’s PvP (Player versus Player) combat offers many challenges and thrills, along with the potential for confusion and frustration. Druids are extremely tough to kill, and are unaffected by many of the magical skills used by the opposition. With their ability to heal, fight like a Warrior and even change forms, they can play any role in PvP. Unfortunately for you, that very versatility makes your Druid a prime target, and makes Druid PvP play extra exciting.

Thanks to Druid’s varied abilities, they have a different ideal strategy for fighting every opposing class. Believe it or not, the best Druid PvP players know and use 9 different strategies, one for each type of opponent they face. On top of that, you’ll need to adapt your Druid’s combat tactics to account for the the abilities of your allies. There’s a lot of information to master, but there are major advantages to doing so.

Most players would agree that Druids are the best class for 2v2 arena play. A sizable minority would argue for the Rogue, but few would argue against the Druid adding more depth and variety to 2-person teams. A well designed Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own most any opponent in duels, and lead a top-tier 2v2 arena team. And of course, these same characteristics make Druids great additions to most 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the up side of using a Druid. But don’t forget that Druids have weaknesses too. To be the best in PvP, you’ll need to understand and work around your Druid’s weaknesses as well as capitalize on strengths. Choosing the right gear goes a long way toward solving that riddle, once you know which gear is the right gear. As always, you can learn all this on your own, if you’re willing to invest a lot of time.

If you don’t have the time to spare, you can invest in a PvP guide that will show you what you need to know to compete with the top Player versus Player competitors. You need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide has all the information you need to quickly boost your Druid to the top of the PvP ranks, and will surely show you things you would never have come up with on your own.
