
The follow up to the previous blockbuster Batman: Arkham Asylum will be Batman: Arkham City, and is a new 3rd-person Action-Adventure game which includes components of sneaking, close-quarters fighting and detective gameplay. For this long-awaited follow up, Batman faces loads of legendary enemies within the Batman story, a few of which were actually present in Batman: Arkham Asylum, and gamers will now be able to assume the role of the sneaky Catwoman and carry out certain quests throughout the adventure.
A run-down region of Gotham City called Arkham City has been modified into a maximum-security penitentiary designed to accommodate Gotham’s worst prisoners. Prisoners are given freedom inside the fortified outer walls of this prison area provided that these criminals do not try to bust out. The Dark Knight keeps a vigil over this city, and must take action when Two-Face plans to publicly execute Catwoman to become famous. Also, the psychiatrist assigned to the prison, Hugo Strange has his own hidden agenda for Arkham City.
This game includes improved movement functions available to Batman, which incorporate sliding, leaping, gliding and the grapple hook.
