Mage, Paladin, Hunter, which one should you choose? Well, personally, we like the Paladin, because they are a versatile character to play on WoW. Do you think you would like to play a Paladin? Your Paladin will either be a healer, DPS or a tank. It all depends on which tree you will be choosing. Even though there are some disadvantages to life as a Paladin, the advantages are far more enticing and the fact is every character will have both pros and cons. When you first start out in WoW, the Paladin will be easy to solo. You will be able to take on most of your enemies alone and when you solo, you will be able to go on autopilot!

When you first start out, Paladins will have a wide array of weapons and armor that you will be able to choose from. When you select your gear, you will need to search for ones that are high in Stamina and Defense. Defense and Stamina are your two most important attributes that you should keep high. Stamina is all about how much damage you are able to take. Defense is all about how much it takes before you start to receive that damage.

What’s That? Weapons? Well Here’s the Scoop on Weapons?

With the weapons, you will be able to choose either two handed or single handed weapons. If you solo a lot, then you may want to choose two-hand weapons. The advantage to the single hand weapon is the fact that you will have the ability to equip a shield. If you plan on tanking, then single hand weapons are great. You will also be able to choose swords or maces. Regarding maces, well, with these you’re going to do some really great bashing damage, and the sword of course provides the cool edged weapon damage.

By the way there are great guides out there for the Paladin, and you’ll find a great PVP Paladin Guide tips on WoWhacked.com.

Spell Types for Paladins

We also enjoy how the Paladin has a trio of different spell types. Blessings can be used in order to boost the target player’s stats and abilities. Seals are self-cast and will boost the status. All Paladins also come equipped with the ability to heal both themselves and the other player. And if you didn’t locate this tree yet, we highly sugest the Retribution talent tree because it’s got a tad of everything.

Diverse Character with Many Options

The Paladin is for those individuals that enjoy playing a diverse character that has many options to choose from. Leveling a Paladin can be very fun. Make sure you find a good WoW Paladin guide if you would like to level that Paladin successfully.

If you feel like a newb and even maybe just like you’re missing out on a lot of cool stuff because of a poor character, then you’ll want to check out our review of Dugis guide. Look for it at WoWHacked.com!

Dominate World PvP with this Paladin Guide

June 14th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Even if your Paladin has avoided it in the past, Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in their future. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. There players face off on the live server to earn points they can use to buy a wide variety of rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can take advantage of.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the trend toward PvP combat in the gaming industry, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Paladin in this new world:

WoW Paladins are a schizophrenic bunch. On the one hand, they’re almost as good in hand-to-hand combat as Warriors. On the other hand, they can heal themselves and others like Priests do. This schizoid behavior carries over into World of Warcraft Paladin PvP combat, meaning that you really need to understand both sides of your character’s personality to dominate player versus player combat.

Given their two-sided personality, it’s no surprise that a Paladin can play a few different roles in PvP. When soloing, their ability to heal themselves can drive their opponents crazy. With a full load of mana, they can use their self-healing abilities to recover from almost any level of damage once or twice. In effect, their healing abilities let them absorb almost triple the damage you might otherwise expect. In other words, a smart Paladin with mana available to use will still be standing long after they “should” be dead. In a group, A Paladin will often end up in a support role, providing bubbles, blessings, heals, and combat support wherever it is needed on the battlefield. This is a role that a skilled Palading will excel at, making them valuable assets for any party.

While playing a Paladin offers many benefits, the Paladin class has its shortcomings too. A Paladin’s mana supply is always limited, and when the mana runs out, so are many of this classes advantages. Even when their mana reserve is full, Paladins can have a terrible time drawing close enough to elusive classes like Hunters and Mages to do any damage at all! The keys to winning as a Paladin are understanding how best to use your limited mana supply, and understanding how to fight each of the opposing classes. As with other WoW classes, learning what you need to know by personal experience is bloody, frustrating, and time consuming.

This is a great reason to invest in a Paladin PvP Guide. A quality guide gives you a blueprint for fighting against each other character class. And that’s not all it will offer you. It will teach you just about everything you could ever care to know about fighting and winning with a Paladin in each player versus player environment, whether dueling or, as part of a group, or in World combat.

Rule PvP Using a Paladin PvP Guide

March 4th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Playing a Paladin class character in World of Warcraft PvP requires a little bit of schizophrenia. Paladins can fight like tanks, but at the same time have the magical power to heal themselves and others, at least while their mana lasts. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of this class is crucial if you want to dominate in player versus player combat.

Given their two-sided personality, it’s no surprise that a Paladin can play more than one role in the arena. When soloing, a Paladin’s ability to heal themselves can frustrate their opponents to no end. With a full load of mana, they can use their self-healing abilities to recover from almost any level of damage once or twice and essentially triple their health bar. In other words, a smart Paladin with mana available to use will still be standing long after they “should” be dead. In a group, Paladins often play more of a support role, providing bubbles, blessings, heals, and melee support wherever it is needed on the battlefield. This is a role that a skilled Palading will excel at, making them valuable assets for any party.

While playing a Paladin offers many benefits, the Paladin class has its shortcomings too. A Paladin’s mana supply is always limited, and when the mana runs out, so are many of this classes advantages. Even when their mana reserve is full, Paladins often find it hard to get close enough to Hunters and Mages to do any damage at all! The keys to winning as a Paladin are understanding the best ways to use your limited mana supply in various circumstances, and knowing how to do battle with each of the opposing classes. As with any class trying to master PvP combat, learning what you need to know by personal experience is bloody, frustrating, and time consuming.

Avoiding that time-consuming and bloody stuff is a great reason to invest in a Paladin PvP Guide. A good guide will give you a detailed blueprint for fighting against each other character class. But it will include much more that that. It will teach you just about everything you could ever care to know about achieving victory with your Paladin in each player versus player environment, whether dueling or as a member of a group.

Find out how your Paladin can dominate the PvP battlefield and score above a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible.
