While it is quite possible to do your WoW gold farming by simply wandering around and taking advantage of whatever comes along, there are better ways to do your gold farming. After all, regardless of what level you’re at, you presumably want to farm as much gold as you can with as little effort as possible. This is especially true with mining, particularly when mining the more valuable ore nodes, which are pretty rare and always sought after. What Do I Want to Mine

Mining in the game starts with Copper – that most basic of metals. When you are first starting out, you will find that Copper is actually decently profitable. At about 2-3 gold per stack for raw Copper ore and more than 4 gold per stack for Copper Bars, you should be able to sell your stockpile of Copper for between 15 and 20 gold by the time you reach level 10. Doing all this should take around 2-3 hours.
