Questing, Grouping or Grinding - What To Do For Fast Leveling

Knowing the secret of fast leveling can help you to level your WoW character from 1-80 in less than 7 days. Do you want to get to level 80 in less than 7 /played days? Then read on…

World of Warcraft gives you many options to gather experience. Now you could think it would be easy to level your character, but the opposite is true.

With all these options, inexperienced players waste their time switching from one playing style to another constantly.

I want to show you the common ways that people use for fast leveling and how good they actually are.

Grinding: In a nutshell, grinding is all about searching for spot where lots of mobs spawn close to each other. Next you just kill the same kind of mob over and over, again and again… does this sound like fun?

Well, many players swear that grinding is the fastest way to level. Well, in the past that worked out well. But things have changed and Blizzard has adjusted the game mechanics. Today, questing gives you more experience than grinding. Basically, if you aren’t farming for gold, items or reputation, today grinding is a waste of your time.

Group Play: Another large group of players like to stick together in groups and quest together or visit instances of their level. In my opinion, visiting instances is a great way to get some nice gear, but I wouldn’t consider it fast leveling.

Usually there aren’t too many quests in instances and they take more time, so you actually get less exp.

Questing with an in-game add-on: There’s one more way to level 1-80 really fast. That’s questing on your own, following the perfect questing path given by an in-game addon. There’s a huge difference if you level with or without such an in-game guide.

World of Warcraft is full opportunities when it comes to quests and areas. You have to make decisions all the time. There are too many choices and that why most players stumble through the world, searching for the good quests.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Blizzard implemented many junk-quests that intentionally slow you down. Those junk-quests cost you time and effort, but you gain basically no exp or gold from them.

But with an in-game leveling guide, you are really prepared for fast leveling! It does all the thinking for you and leads you through the perfect questing path.

Major Glyphs To Level A Fire Mage?

May 28th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

With all the options for glyphs at your finger tips, it can be difficult to determine which ones to pick. I’ve put together this quick overview about the most effective glyphs for fire mages to help you tweaking your character.

Since you’re still at the stage of choosing the right glyphs for your fire mage, I’ll make the assumption that you’re at the leveling phase of the game.

My choice of glyphs will help you with mage leveling.

Alright, let’s finally get to the basics.

When you hit level 15 and 30, your first two slots for major glyphs will be unlocked. The third one is irrelevant for now, because you get it with level 80, and then you won’t be needing glyphs to level anymore.

Now that you know when your slots are unlocked, let’s take a look at the Glyphs themselves:

Arcane Intellect – Level 15 – Minor Glyph

Reduces the mana cost of your Arcane Intellect and Arcane Brilliance spells by 50%

Slow Fall – Level 15 – Minor Glyph

Your Slow Fall spell no longer requires a reagent.

Fireball – Level 15 – Major Glyph

Increases the critical strike chance of Fireball by 5%, but removes the damage over time effect.

Scorch – Level 20 – Major Glyph

Increases the damage of your Scorch spell by 20%

Living Bomb – Level 60 – Major Glyph

The periodic damage from your Living Bomb can now be critical strikes.

Molten Armor – Level 62 – Major Glyph

Your Molten Armor spell grants an additional 20% of your spirit as critical strike rating.

Here’s the order in which you should pick your glyphs for your fire mage:

First of all, get Fireball once you hit 15. At this level it’s simply the most effective Glyph. At this stage it’s helpful to up your damage output to kill enemies faster. Of course, this will help you to level slightly faster.

Your second major Glyph is Scorch and you should get it as soon as you hit 30.

Now, the game is pretty straight forward until you hit level 60 – 62. Now, two more really cool Glyphs become available to you: Living Bomb and Molten Armor.

Since you now have 4 major Glyphs available, you should pick the ones that fit your playing style the most. By now you should have developed your own style, so go with your gut feeling.

If you want to tweak things even further, read a more detailed mage leveling guide.

But let me share another thought with you:

Instead of supporting a single spell, Molten Armor increases your overall crit. rating. Molten Armor gives you higher leverage that’s why I usually recommend it for fast leveling, but you can as easily play a good game without it.

Fast Leveling A Fire Mage - The Mage Leveling Guide

May 25th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Now, before taking a look at the build, I want to get one thing out of the way - the Frost spec vs Fire spec debate. Which leveling spec is the best for you depends a lot on your unique playing style.

If you want the complex but efficient tactic, go for the frost build.

This mage leveling guide is for people who’d much rather focus on the fire tree.

Unsure which one you prefer? You can test them both and see which one works better for you, then stick to it.

With this out of our way, let’s head over to the leveling spec itself.

This is the order in which I recommend you to spend your talent points:

  • 5 Points in Improved Fireball
  • 5 Points in Ignite
  • 1 Point in Pyroblast
  • 3 Points in World in Flames
  • 2 Points in Burning Determination
  • 3 Points in Improved Scorch
  • 3 Points in Master of Elements
  • 3 Points in Critical Mass
  • 5 Points in Fire Power
  • 1 Point in Combustion
  • 3 Points in Pyromaniac
  • 1 Point in Blast Wave
  • 2 Points in Molten Fury
  • 3 Points in Empowered Fire
  • 1 Point in Dragons Breath
  • 3 Points in Hot Streak
  • 1 Point in Firestarter
  • 5 Points in Burnout
  • 1 Point in Living Bomb

With the fire tree maxed out, invest in some more minor important fire talents and then get some Arcane to improve your crit chances.

  • 3 Points in Incineration
  • 1 Point in Fire Starter
  • 2 Points in Arcane Subtlety
  • 3 Points in Arcane Focus
  • 5 Points in Arcane Concentration
  • 3 Points in Spell Impact
  • 3 Points in Student of the Mind

The fire mage is best for players who don’t want to concentrate and focus all the time. It’s straight forward hit-them-with-a-club style play.

Since a fire mage will not fight many mobs at the same time, he will get overwhelmed less often. This can indeed be helpful with mage leveling.

One more thing though:

Even though, you’re a fearsome fire mage, don’t hesitate to use frost spells when it makes sense. I like to view spells as tools and if the opportunity arises, I love to use Blink or Frost Nova to immobilize my foes and get away.

For fast leveling I recommend the following strategy:

Mount up and pull about five then Frostnova them and get some distance with Blink. Now nuke them down with your AoE spells: Arcane Explosion, Blast Wave and Dragons Breath.

Get Your Toon To Level 80 Before The Cataclysm - The Pre-Cataclysm Mage Leveling Guide

May 25th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

The Cataclysm dawns closer and closer and people all over Azeroth are forming groups to visit all the memorable places for a last time – before everything changes forever. Now is the time to level your twinks up to lv 80 - then you can sit down and relax and enjoy all the places, instances and cities as we all know and love them.

What’s the best thing to do?

Use the time to level through the well-known world or take some time to smell the flowers and don’t worry about what may come tomorrow.

You need to find a good balance.

If your goal is to get your toons to level 80 before the landscape changes and your mage leveling guide becomes obsolete for a while, you should better hurry up and get it over with. Then you can truly relax and maybe join a nostalgic group to visit all the beautiful places before they change forever.

If your heart is in the game, use your time to join some nostalgia raids or visit cool instances with your guild mates and take memorable screen shots.

Who knows what will come?

Here’s your action plan until the Cataclysm hits the continents:

#1 – Use a mage leveling guide to get the job done fast

The less time you waste on leveling, the more time you will have left to take part in nostalgic groups or prepare all your characters with the best equipment.

#2 – Remember to make screen captures

Save those memorable moments. Screen shots are a great way to remember all the events that you took part in. No matter if you just want to look at them yourself or share with friends. I bet WoW.com and co. will have lots of galleries up with pics from before the Cataclysm.

#3 – Join nostalgia raids

Not much to say about this. This is just a great thing. Participate as long as it lasts.

I hope you enjoyed this article, but now it’s time to take some action. Grab yourself a mage leveling guide and get into action before it’s too late.

Things To Do Before The Cataclysm - The Pre-Cataclysm Mage Leveling Guide

May 18th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

You surely know that the landscape and the face of Azeroth will change forever once the Cataclysm hits. If you still have toons that you want to play but that are still below level 80, this has some serious effects on you. Once everything changes, leveling will be an even bigger pain in the butt.

Azeroth waits for the Cataclysm and lots of people are forming nostalgic raid groups to experience all the fantastic or exotic places all over the world before it might be too late. They visit instances like the Black Wing Lair or lower level instances to see them one last time before they might be gone forever.

Who knows what it’s going to come our way?

A lot of players are in a real pinch now:

Should you level your toons quickly to level 80 before your mage leveling guide is obsolete for an unknown amount of time??

Or should you take your time and experience the beauty of WoW again?

Don’t wait for too long! If you hurry up you can do both.

First of all, get the leveling done. That’s very important. The alternative is stumbling through the new world without guidance and spend a lot of time before you finally hit the level cap.

Grab yourself the fastest mage guide you can find and completely focus on leveling for some days.

When you’re done, you can relax and join the nostalgia fun that’s taking place all over Azeroth.

I know it’s hard when a good thing ends, but you also have to look at what’s ahead of the road. It’s going to be great in the beginning, but once the shiney wore off it’s back to the same old grinding, daily quests, instances, etc.

But if you can prepare yourself, get all your toon on level 80 before the Cataclysm hits, you’re in the best position possible.

You better hurry up!

Again, make sure you grab a solid mage leveling guide and get your leveling dialed. Then the Cataclysm can come.

Fast WoW Leveling and Class Quests

December 8th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

World of Warcraft Leveling Guides are designed to get your character to Level 80 as fast as possible. To get you there quickly, they guide your character through a particular sequence of quests that builds experience points extremely fast. But each class has its own unique quests. Is completing class quests compatible with the race to level as fast as possible?

Each character class has unique attributes, abilities, and quests. That’s why you may love playing a Warlock, while I’m big on Hunters, and so on. Even if you could get to Level 80 without developing the unique characteristics of your character, it would take a lot of the fun out of playing.

So how does developing your character’s unique attributes fit into the typical WoW Leveling Guide? It doesn’t. It’s a lot of work to integrate the unique quests for each class into a standardized leveling guide. Some guides focus only on the common quest path. They leave it up to you to figure out when and how to do your class quests. But that doesn’t mean no one is doing it right.

Both Dugi’s Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide and the Zygor Guides make sure you get your class quests when you follow their guides. These guides are designed so that your character will automatically see their class quests in the guide as part of their path to Level 80. This means that your character will be a fully-functional Hunter, Warlock, Druid, Death Knight, or whichever class when they’re done blasting through the levels.

If you want to succeed in the end game content, you need to be sure your character completes their class quests. Leaving it up to you to figure out when and how your quests into a generic leveling guide doesn’t cut it. Don’t accept any guide that doesn’t include your class quests in the progression.

If you want to level fast without neglecting your class quests, you need the right levelign guide. All you need to do is Click Here.

Zygor Guide - Why Zygor Guides are So Popular

November 27th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

Recently I decided it was time to try playing as a Blood Elf. Dreading the long grind to the higher levels, I decided to buy the Zygor Horde Guide and see if it would really help level my character faster. Let me tell you what I’ve learned so far.

Some History

I hadn’t found previous leveling guides to be of much use. There were various reasons, but the biggest was the way that you had to keep getting out of the game to read the guide so I would know what to do next. It got so frustrating that for a while I used two computers whenever I played: one for the game, and another to display the current guide page. The hassle was bad enough, but the way it kept pulling me out of the game to go consult the other computer really made it less fun.

Why Zygor Guides are the Best

Zygor Guides work within World of Warcraft. How is that different than the old guides I used? It means that the guide information appears in a window right inside the game. With this kind of presentation, the guide is much more accessible, and you can stay “in” the game. This makes the entire experience vastly better and more enjoyable.

You’re also in control of the amount of information the guide gives you. If I just want to focus on in-the-moment action, I can close the Zygor Guide window completely. You can have a small window with the minimal amount of information, just enough to let you know what your next objective is. If you want even more information, you can switch to a large window that displays all the details about your current leveling activity.

Another feature I love is the distance and direction arrow. This puppy always points to the next objective, and updates in real time so I always know where I need to be heading. It’s a great time saver, particularly once you have a flyer and can go directly toward your objective. With my Zygor Horde Guide, I get everything I need to blast through the levels super fast, without ever looking away from the game.

But Does It Work?

All that’s cool, but you’re probably wondering if the Zygor Leveling Guide accomplishes its mission of helping you level super fast. Well, when I was ready to test the guide for the first time, my brother offered to escort me with one of his characters that was several levels higher than mine. I told him what I was doing & that I would do this session on my own, following the advice in Zygor. We both started playing, and he checked in on me a few hours later. His reaction says all you need to know about how well these guides work. His first comment was, “Hey! How the #3$%^& did your guy get so big so fast? Can my guy come with yours next time?”

To level your World of Warcraft characters fast, get Zygor Guides. To do it, all you need to do is Click Here.
