If you take PC gaming seriously then you will want to get the most out of each game. However the truth is that because most people have computers that are not running optimally, they are not getting the most from their PC games. If you want to be sure that your gaming experience is not ruined by your computer then the following tips should help.

- It is a good idea to close all other programs when you are playing games. Even things like anti-viral software can slow down the performance of your game and ruin your enjoyment of it.

- Carry out regular defrags on your computer. This procedure ensures that the files on your computer are organised efficiently so that the computer can more easily find the files it needs. The defrag is something that can be done easily and when you do this, you can be sure that you are improving your computer’s performance. The longer you leave it to defrag the more it will slow down your computer and negatively impact performance.

- You need to make sure that you have sufficient virtual memory for playing PC games. It is only really older computers that have problems with insufficient virtual memory and you can remedy the situation by going into the control panel and resetting the virtual memory level to about 3GB.

- You need to make sure you have the updates for your video card driver. By doing this you can be sure that you will get the best performance from your video card and you will also have the assurance that any bugs that were found will be gone with the new updates.

- If you are having problems with the stability of certain games then you might need a game patch update. If stability problems are discovered with certain games, the game developer often releases a patch to solve the problem.

So there you have just a few ideas for how you can improve your gaming experience on the PC.

What You Should Think About Before Purchasing A New Game For Your PC

January 12th, 2011 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

If you are in the mood for a new game for your PC you need to be careful not to rush into a purchase. A lot of people end up regretting what they have bought because they did not put any thought into it. So before you buy any new games for your PC, the following are some of the things you need to think about.

- Make sure you check the back of the game box to find out system requirements. Many people buy games but then take them home only to find that their computer is unable to play them or keeps on crashing. If the system requirements are too high for the computer that you have then you may have to buy a different game or think about upgrading your PC. Remember that every game will have specific requirements and just because your PC can play one type of game doesn’t mean that it can play another.

- Reading the reviews before you buy a particular game is a good idea. This will make it less likely that you will be disappointed with your purchase. You will get a better idea of what the game is like by reading a few different reviews. You can also check out some of the YouTube reviews because these actually show you the game being played.

- If you want to be sure that you really do want to buy a game then you should think about renting it before buying. It is not expensive to rent a game for a day or two and if you find that the game is not really what you wanted then you will be saving yourself quite a bit of money on the purchase price.

- Do consider purchasing second hand games because this will save you a lot of money. This is great unless you want to play the game as soon as it comes out.

R4 and gaming cards are very important to game enthusiasts pretty much everywhere, which means that being ready for just about all eventualities is definitely the way to go. Some other stuff that gamers may very well be serious about are Carte DSTT and Carte M3i Zero.

Quick Tricks For The R4 DS Cards

November 28th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Playstation 2 Games, Playstation 3 Games, Playstation Games

If you don’t know what an R4 DS is, this quick run down will explain what it is. Want more details on the R4 DS Card? I would urge you to read all of my articles on the R4 DS card to get better aquinted with them.In my last articles and reviews I described in detail exactly what the R4 DS is and what it can do as well as how it works. ps2cover.{com for a detailed feature and function list}~com for a detailed list of all of the features and functions~{{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~{com for detailed lists of features and functions}~com for a full breakdown of functions and features~com for a full list of all of the functions and features~{com for a detailed run down of all features and functions}~com for an in depth list of all of the functions and features~com for a full, detailed list of all features and functions~{com for a good look at all of the functions and features}~{{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a full list of all of the functions and features~{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}. if you’re not clear on what the R4 DS is, then I recommend you do some research on Google to find out.

In short, the R4 DS card will let you watch Movies on your NDS, listen to Mp3 music on your NDS as well as play homebrew roms and applications on your NDS console… on your Nintendo DS console. It essentially flips your NDS or DSi from purely a game system to a whole Entertainment unit in your hands, all for less than .00 dollars.00

There are some quick and easy tips to follow. While some of these tips may seem obvious, it even took me about a week and a half of using the R4 DS before I came up with some ways to make my life (and game playing) a little bit easier.

1. Store your game files in a directory on your microSD Card. To help you organize your files, I recommend putting all of your files into directories that you set up for these specific files. GAMES should be store in your GAMES folder. It makes navigating the menu much easier, and all of your save game files will also be origanized by default.

2. Try to orignize your MP3 files as well as Video files by creating a seperate directory for each one of them on the microSD memory card. This is something that is a must for anyone that has a lot of music where all of the songs are labeled TRACK 1, Track 2, etc..MP3 Music, Track 2.MP3, and others, etc….. By putting your files in seperate and different directories, you’ll at least have them organized because you can put all of your MP3 albums in individual directories so you’ll at least know that TRACK-1.mp3 in the ABBA directory is from the ABBA greatest hits album.

3. Make sure you try and make a copy of all of your game saves on your hard drive at least 1-2 times a week. Not because you could lose your save games, but you may want to try a level again to get a better score without having to start from the start again. It’s also good to get into this habit because you may erase a game (and its save game file) and not have a backup in case you want to play that game once again sometime in the future. While this one really seems like an obvious hint, you would be surprised to know that most of our technical support emails for the R4 DS deal with how to get back erased or deleted game saves that were not backed up. I recommend doing this at LEAST once a week, more if you play your games more frequently.

4. You don’t want to take out the microSD Card from the R4 DS in the NDS each time you want to add files. Simply push the microSD card with your finger and it will ‘pop out’ of the R4 DS card slot. Use the included microSD card reader / writer to change your games, music and movie files or add more to your collection on your microSD card.

5. This is my final suggestion. And it handles the Micro SD card in the R4DS card slot. When you put the NDS, Nintendo DS lite or Nintendo DSi in your pocket or pick it up. Check to make sure that the microSD card is in the R4 DS card. Make sure that the microSD card is in the card slot of the R4DS and it’s not loose or ready to pop out. The chances of it popping out without you pushing down on the card are slim, but it could happen while you’re carrying it in your pocket. Losing you microSD card is horrible. Not knowing where it is because it popped out somewhere and may have falled on the ground is even worse. As you may know, microSD cards are very small, and if you lost one, you’ll have a really tough time finding it, unless you want to get a new one. If you carry your Nintendo DS in a case, then the chances are much smaller that the card will get dislodged from the R4 DS card slot, but it’s better to check on a regular basis anyway. You should do this before you even turn the power on.

The r4 DS allows you to power up your NDS by allowing you to run homebrew game and applications as well as watch movies, read ebooks, and more. It also allows you to play MP3 music as well as watch movies on your Nintendo DS. What the R4 DS does is take your Nintendo DS from just being a game system to becoming a full entertainment center by allowing you to watch movies read ebooks, listen to mp3’s and much more.
