WoW Herbalism - The gift of Nature

Herbalism is one of the WoW’s main gathering professions. If you just started leveling your char, leveling Herbalism along the way will bring no problems. Even if you choose to learn it at level 80, it will pose no problems, as you will be able to level it up for just a few hours.

What is Herbalism all about?

With Herbalism you will be able to gather various herb species in different zones. So what exactly you can do with herbs? Herbs can be sold in stacks as a raw material on the Auction House. With Alchemy you can make various potions, elixirs and flasks with the use of herbs. All classes in WoW use these alchemy products so they would increase their abilities and performance in general, especially in raids and instances.

Wrath of the Lich King expansion introduced the new profession - Inscription. This profession is used to make various glyphs that can, depending on your spec, enhance your performance. How can I track herbs?

Very simple. Herbs are scattered all over the map. However, some areas are richer in herbs compared to other areas. When you learn Herbalism, you will also get an ability to track herbs on your mini map. If you would like to have a record of the herbs you have already picked up then try using an addon such as The Gatherer. The Gatherer keeps record of the herb locations discovered by you or any party or guild member who has this addon installed.

Herbalism benefits

With Herbalism you will get an ability called Lifeblood. This ability is instant, costs no mana and it can heal you about 3600 over 5 seconds. However, this ability has a three minute cooldown. For the players who are leveling up their characters, this is one of the extremely useful abilities, especially for the classes who do not have any other healing ability.

Another benefit is that you will be saving a considerable amount of gold when it comes to flasks, pots and elixirs. Considering that they are necessary consumables in any raid, you will be able to create the ones for your own need and also to profit by selling them on the Auction House. Different Classes and Herbalism

Are there any particular classes who are considered to be suitable for herbalism? No, there isn’t. Any class can make use of herbalism, although some classes may seem to need it somewhat more.
