RSSWoW Blacksmithing - The Finest Crafts

In WoW you can learn different professions and Blacksmithing is one of them. The first thing you need as a Blacksmith is a Blacksmith Hammer which you can buy for just a few copper in almost every city. What you need in order to level up Blacksmithing are the different kinds of ore that can be found in the World of Warcraft. There are several ways to obtain these ores and the best way is by taking Mining as your second profession so you can gather the ores yourself because the ores are really pricy on the Auction House.
Blacksmithing isn’t that hard to level up if you can gather the necessary resources along the way. With Blacksmithing you will learn to make nice items. At the start you will be learning to make different kinds of Mail Armor and Weaponry. As you level it up higher you will start making Plate Armor while still learning new weapons as well. Since Plate Armor and melee Weaponry are very important for Paladins, Warriors and Death Knights, you can say that Blacksmithing and Mining would suit these classes best. If you choose to become a Weapon Blacksmith you will still be able to make quite an amount of different pieces of Armor and vice versa. You will however gain access to patterns that allow you to craft rare items. The choice isn’t that heavy though because you will still be able to create most of the good stuff that the Blacksmithing profession offers you anyway.
Once you have managed to skill up your Blacksmithing you can learn to produce quite an amount of valuable and much wanted items. These can be used by the Blacksmith himself or sold for nice amounts on the Auction House. As a Blacksmith you will also be able to make Belt Buckles. These can be used on belts. Once applied on a belt, a socket will appear in the belt and a gem can be placed in there to make the belt better.
There’s more to Blacksmithing though because you can heavily improve your performance by making sockets for both your bracers and gloves. These can be applied on your bracers and gloves and once applied you will also be able to place a gem in them to make yourself even stronger. Socket Gloves and Socket Bracer are two items that become soulbound once created which means that the Blacksmith can only use these himself and that they cannot be sold.
Blacksmithing is a nice profession especially for those classes that wear Plate Armor. If you choose to make Mining your second profession Blacksmithing is quite easy and cheap to level though you can make nice amounts of money out of money out of it at later levels.
