I know what it feels like to have goldless in WoW. It can be very annoying. I created this gold guide to help out some World Of Warcraft players with some very easy gold making strategies. You know that you will use gold to level up your character and buy things at the Auction House. The WoW gold market is therefore a very intricate and aggressive one.Illegal gold trading in World Of Warcraft is estimated at over $1billion per year.

A very simple way of making heaps of gold is to just sell the raw items that you have gathered or gained as mat stacks in AH.Rather focus on gathering items and selling them as is in the AH to players that are searching for those items.To reiterate, focus on gathering not crafting. Then don’t forget to have a browse every now and again to see which items are required by other players as these are what you need to gather.
These gathering professions seem to generate gold a lot quicker. Mining, skinning, fishing and herbalism.
Beginning with fishing.
Fishing may be tedious yes but find a black or golden pearl and you will be most pleased. It might take opening up a vast amount of clams but find these black or golden pearls it will be worth it.For a stack of 10 black pearls you can get 10 gold and 1 gold pearl is worth 30 gold.Pearls are found near high water areas such as Ferelas, close to Feathermoon. So fishing can be of great gain to making gold especially at the higher skill levels.Remember to max out your skill quicker you need to have a good rod and lure.
2. Skinning
Tip: remember to purchase bigger bags as soon as you can as skinning items do not stack well.There is plenty gold to be made of skinning as other professions such as blacksmithing, tailoring and leatherworking will require those skinning items that you gather.The fastest way to gather skinning items is by finding quest locations that call for the people to kill enormous amounts of monsters etc….You can then gather all the skinning items you need from the corpses after the fighting.Make sure to get down to Nesingwary’s expedition to the north in Stranglethorn Vale to get hold of some panther, tiger and raptor to skin. If its gorillas and devilsaurs you are after go and make a turn in Un’goro.
Make sure once you have levelled up a bit higher to go to Winterspring for Shardtooths to skin them for rugged and warbear leather.While you are skinning make sure to gather all the loot and leather as well as this can bring in round 40g per hour.When the warbear and rugged leather are stacked you can get some nice gold for them as well in the Auction house.
Next we have mining
Mining can make you some good gold as engineers and blacksmiths require the items that you mine.If you want Iron and Mithril then go to Arathi Highlands. When you are there look for the Drywhisker cave near Hammerfall to mine lesser bloodstone that sells well in Auction house.Another cave but this time in the Wetlands north of Dun Algaz bears Incedicite ore which also sells well.
A couple of the greatest places for Mithril and Truesilver are Tanaris, Blasted Lands ,Searing Gorge & the Charred Vale.Thorium must not be ignored, as it is one of the best gold makers as you can get around 10g per stack.Arcane Crystals which can be located in between the Thorium veins can nett you up to 12-15g when sold, each. These veins can be found in Winterspring, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands or Un’Goro.Gathering Thorium and Arcane Crystals can get you 50g per hour.
Last but not least we have herbalism
You do not have to be an Alchemist for this herbalism strategy.Once gathered you will only sell to the Alchemists.To start with the herb Plagueblooms can acquire you some easy gold, find these in the western and eastern Plaguelands. Felwood might be less busy for Plagueblooms.Other fantastic herbs to gather are Gromsblood and Dreamfoil in Felwood as these can sell for 12gold per stack in the AH.Ghost Mushrooms are the next profitable option to gather. They can sell for around 20-25gold in the Auction house.
These strategies should help vastly.
