Water Effects In Video Games

There do seem to be a lot of video games out there that use water effects very well indeed. Here are just a few video games that use water to really push the game out there.
Hydrophobia
This game is really going to be fantastic in terms of the kind of water effects used and it will be great. The game begins with the main protagonist on a vessel that is hit by terrorists, it then begins to sink and you have to stop it. Various levels will be spent underwater and by the looks of the water it looks to be a very good game. This game was due out on all of the consoles but has now been set to just be released on the Xbox 360.
Super Mario Sunshine
The entire Mario franchise could be included here but I have to say that it is this game that really changed the way people saw water effects in the Mario games, they pulled it off. Well firstly it would seem that main thing to mention is FLUDD who was of course the water nozzle that could talk and was there to assist Mario. Nintendo really did show that they knew what they were doing with this Mario game.
Bioshock 1 &2
These two games have some of the best water effects I have seen in a game and it has to be really as it is all set in an underwater city. Although I have not had the chance to truly play the second edition as of yet it still looks to be fantastic.
So if you fancy your very own deep sea adventure why not go on one of those diving holidays and go shark diving. Of course Maldives diving is among the best for this kind of thing.
