The racing telemetry details, ie. the speed and direction and all that stuff, can be accessed by your home computer so a real life simulation is possible!

Combining the best computer games with real life racers and drivers makes the best system. Now, you can actually race against Hamilton or Button from the comfort of your own chair (well gaming seat!) - at home.This technology enables you race against professioanl drivers in realtime because this system enables you to actually be at the event.
So what’s the scoop? Well a bunch of clever (and well financed) people over at a company called ‘iopenermedia’ have this system in testing, soon to be live.
The company is called iOpener and their technology allows you to race 1-on-1 with professionals in real time, on real circuits and at live events. Just imagine if it was possible to take part in a live GT racing event? You can actually now play and participate!
